Christian Pilgrimage

‘I saw the holy, and the New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, as a beautiful bride all dressed for her husband. Then I heard a loud voice call from the throne, ‘You see this city? Here God lives among men. He will make his home among them; they shall be his people and he would be their God-with-them. He will wipe all tears from their eyes; there will be no more death and no more mourning or sadness. The world of the past has gone.’ (Revelation 21, 3-4).

Our transition from this strange earth reminds us of our unflinching love and trust in God. We are always called to strive to attain the Glory and Grace gifted to us. Our journey through Christ is a role call to joy and happiness as we strive to attain his grace through the washing away of sins on the cross. He said, we are on more in darkness and assures us of his coming to take us home. A home where there is peace and happiness.

These are all biblical teachings that affect the anxiety of the call for pilgrimage to experience both his death and resurrection. Journeying to the holy cities in Israel will be a sign of preparedness to amend our ways and link up with the maker.
